1. Client Cancellation Request
A client may request cancellation or termination of services in writing by contacting [email protected]. The request should include the client's full name, email address, contract date and reason for the request. A cancellation request does not automatically create a right to a refund.
2. Mutual Termination
The relationship may be terminated at any time by mutual written agreement between the client and UNL. Any economic consequences are determined according to the individual agreement and the services already initiated, performed or made available.
3. Serious Breach
The individual service agreement provides that either party may terminate the agreement by written notice when the other party commits a serious breach and fails to cure it within 30 calendar days after receiving notice, subject to the terms of the agreement.
4. Non-Payment
UNL may suspend or terminate services in circumstances established by the individual agreement, including non-payment, repeated delinquency or unjustified failure to comply with economic obligations. Amounts already paid for services initiated, performed or made available are not automatically refundable in such circumstances.
5. Suspension for Unpaid Amounts
Where amounts remain unpaid or payment is materially delayed without appropriate notice or justification, UNL may suspend its management and communications until the payment situation is resolved, while preserving applicable contractual rights regarding amounts due.
6. Cancellation and Refunds Are Different
Cancellation and refund are separate matters. A cancellation request determines whether the service relationship should end; refund eligibility is determined under the individual agreement and Refund Policy. Where the applicable economic scholarship parameter is expressly included and is not achieved as specified in the agreement, the contractual 100% refund mechanism may apply.
7. Service Continuity
The individual agreement makes continuation of the service subject to timely payment and provides that the process continues toward admission or an official I-20, subject to the client's compliance and the actions and decisions of third-party institutions.
8. Transfer Student and Sports
The Transfer Student and Sports service is separate from the initial admissions service and requires separate conditions and a supplementary agreement when activated.
9. Written Notices
Cancellation, termination and related contractual notices should be made in writing through the contact information designated by UNL and, where required by the individual agreement, through the formal notice method specified there.
